Last week I was talking to a photographer friend about photography for the love of it. Since going back to her day job, she’s never appreciated photography more. Instead of sitting at her computer and sorting a thousand pictures of strangers, she could focus on what she loved about photography. Now I quite enjoy even the sorting pictures part of photography, but I think that conversation was exactly what I needed to get out of bed and pull on my warm clothes so early on a Sunday.
Besides photographing the sunrise on that wonderfully foggy and frosty morning, I also visited my neighbor’s cows. I’ve always thought that these were good looking cows, but on this morning they were bovine supermodels! I love the dark and mysterious look, and the fog really added to that effect.

Amy - Wow, Lani! The top one is my favorite, but great photography (and modeling by the cows) on all of them. I recognize what your friend said 🙂
Benny Ottosson - Underbara bilder Lani. Den med solstrålarna är ju galet bra!
Deb M. - I would love to have a print to hang on my wall of the 2 cows popping out from behind the tree. Beautifully done!
